Welcome! At Brightcove, we're all about helping publishers to get the most out of their video assets and deliver amazing broadband video experiences to their users. Here in the Developer Center you'll find our JavaScript and ActionScript APIs that you can use to extend our players and create your own functionality on top of the Brightcove service.
In addition to the APIs, you'll also find a series of How-To articles that cover some of the basics of building functionality with the service. Many include sample apps that you can download as well. Over time we'll be adding more sample apps, how tos, best practices, case studies and more. If you have ideas for content or want to share, get in touch!
Important Note: For the time being, the APIs are being provided but not actively supported by Brightcove. You can find help from other developers (including some Brightcove folks) in the forums.
