Brightcove Basic is one of the new editions of Brightcove 3. Brightcove Basic is ideal for individuals, small organizations, and departments within larger organizations that are looking for a professional online video platform that is proven, intuitive and affordable.

With Brightcove Basic, you control 100% of your player experience. You can choose to display advertising – or not. You can sign up directly with Tremor's Acudeo video monetization platform and keep 100% of the advertising earnings that are passed to you from Tremor. There are a lot of new features too, including server–side transcoding, faster players, player APIs, Web services APIs, full screen display, and much more.

Basic does not support connecting to ad servers. To sell and traffic your own ads, you'll need a Brightcove Pro or Enterprise account. However, Basic does give you the ability to work with third party ad networks, and it puts you in complete control. Basic is integrated with Tremor Media's Acudeo video monetization platform. Through Acudeo you can connect to a wide variety of ad networks. Brightcove does not share in the revenue that you generate.

If you are a Brightcove Basic edition publisher interested in receiving third party advertising in your video content, please submit a request with Tremor Media at: http://www.tremormedia.com/brightcove_request.php

You will need to provide your Brightcove Account ID, found within the account settings page of the Brightcove Studio. Tremor Acudeo provides access to advertisements from the Tremor Network as well as a variety of other popular video ad networks.
