Copying the Brightcove Player Publishing Code
Once a publisher creates a Brightcove Player, the publishing code for that Player becomes readily available from the Brightcove Console (requires Administrator or Programmer access). Through simple copying and pasting of this publishing code or link, you can publish Brightcove Player content to a web page or other location, as described below.
To copy the code or link for publishing a Player:
- Choose the Players tab in the Brightcove Console.
- Select the Player from the list on the left and click the Get Publishing Code button.
- Select the appropriate code type tab, and click Copy for the code you need. The code is automatically copied to your clipboard.

Copy and paste this URL to link to the Player from any website, email, blog, etc. - IFRAME Code
Copy and paste this code to embed the Player in a website location of your choosing. - Pop-up Code
Copy and paste this code to embed the Player in a pop-up window. - Choose HTML as the publishing code for social networking (for example, MySpace) or other services (such as blogs) that disallow JavaScript posts.
- This HTML embed code is not recommended in most circumstances. Publishers will lose the ability to control where this content is displayed and some reporting capability.
