Enabling "Share This" Video
With Brightcove’s “Share This” functionality, your viewers can easily share links to your content with others. Each Brightcove Player has a Share This option you access by clicking on the “about Brightcove” button. If you have configured your Player with a Player URL, the Share This option is automatically enabled and allows your viewers to choose to copy the link or automatically email the Player location to a friend.
To enable Share This, open the Brightcove Console and go to the Player page. Choose the Player you want to enable, and click Edit. On the Settings tab, choose "Host this player at a web address of your choice" and then enter the URL for the page on which your Player resides in the Player URL field. Click Save and that's it! Your Player can now easily be shared by all your viewers.
Viewers can use the sharing links directly or click the menu button and choose the sharing option they with to use from that menu.
