A Brightcove Player is an Adobe Flash application for playing back video and in some cases browsing through video lineups. Players can be created with existing Brightcove Player Templates or using Flash and the Brightcove APIs. Players made from standard templates can be configured and customized with the visual tools in the Brightcove Console.

Your Player can be easily inserted into a web page (or pop-up window) or embedded in a Flash-based application by copying and pasting the provided Player publishing code .
Once a Player is published, use Console reporting features to see information about how audiences are viewing your Brightcove-distributed content.
You can integrate your players with a Web content management system (CMS) and customize player behavior in a page using JavaScript APIs.
