Brightcove Player Report Types
You can access the following reports for active Players from the Reports tab in the Brightcove Console.
In the Reports tab, there are two drop down selectors. You can choose to view your publisher or Affiliate account reports. If you choose to view Publisher Reports, you must choose which category of reports you would like to view: Performance or Syndication. The description of each available report is listed below, under its corresponding category.
Reporting Terms

A "play" is recorded for each viewer Play button click or autoplay (if enabled).
Each video played counts as 1 play, regardless of whether the viewer paused and resumed play. |
Account Type: Publisher
Generates reports about titles, lineups, and players for which you are the content publisher. Below is the data shown in the console view, for additional information and the complete report use the "Download Report" button to export as CSV.Category: Performance

Depending how and where the player was inserted (like in a pop-up hosted on a different domain than the referring page), a "Referring URL" may be reported as unavailable. |

Shows % of title plays completed of the selected month in chart format. A completion event occurs when the playhead reaches the end of the video. This is recorded as 100% completed play. The % of plays completed metric is measured as the number of completion events divided by the number of plays for the same time period. So it is an average of completions over time. |

Notes:
- Based on the way your Brightcove account is set up, report data is presented in different ways.
- For progressive download accounts: Reports display media transferred as megabytes.
- For streaming media accounts: Reports display data transferred in minutes.
- Reports for minutes streamed and reports for megabytes downloaded or streamed include data from the activity of previewing players from the Brightcove Console. This is not true of reports about playing (such as Number of Plays) or the Title Play Completion Rate report.
- Reporting data is tracked in PST (Pacific Standard Time). Even when daylight savings time comes into effect, the data is still tracked and displayed in PST (not PDT).
